Christopher welcomes people in New York to come to Seeking Shalom for their journey to wholeness and peace. As a pastoral counselor, he is a highly trained psychotherapist (Licensed in multiple states) of significant experience (since the 1990s) who also integrates in the spiritual and religious dimensions a client brings to their counseling in order to better address the situations for which they are coming and to help in the healing process. Among his writing and speaking, which has received national attention, Christopher has completed work looking at the death and dying process as well as the way different people grieve and return to a new normal after a significant loss.

Karen’s specialty is Bereavement and Mental Health Counseling for Children, Teens and Adults. She has counseled Individuals, Couples and Groups for over twenty years. She also conducts workshops
and presentations for schools and local businesses. Karen is the Director of Camp Good Grief of Staten Island, a weekend camp for children and teens. She has created the only bereavement camp for
children and teens on Staten Island, providing a safe and nurturing place for campers to learn how to cope more effectively with tragedy and grief in their lives, while building peer relationships and having fun.
